JAM 24

JAM 24 was established in Jakarta Indonesia 2013 . It was formed by Gene Celiberti , a multi talented artist who began his music career playing drums from the age of 10 years old  after seeing his older cousin playing drums. Gene recalls it was like ACID at the age of ten and was overwhelmed, overcome and totaly blown away by the drums . Gene comes from a very musical family, and grew up around musical people.  At the age of 13 Gene was sneaking into bars and playing gigs with older brother Tony, playing progressive rock and soul music. By the age of 21 Gene won a scholarship to study at the world renown Jazz College -BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC Boston Massachusetts . JAM 24 was formed after Gene was walking the streets of Jakarta looking to meet someone that could help him find musicians to jam with . Jakarta was chosen for its different sound and culture and feel . This decision was inspired by listening to the musicians playing in BALI in the bars in Legian. Gene met in the street that day Hezky Nainggolan who happens to be a great guitarist/singer and friend . Hezky introduced me to Usereal Usri the keyboard player and Aloel Laghunta the Bass Player at a JAM session at Margo Friday Jazz . The feel of theses guys was exactly what Gene had been searching for. Musicains that play from the Heart not from a TEXT BOOK . From that point Gene began to commute from Perth W.A to jakarta Indonesia to commence recording the album Bundarun- HI . We Can Find Love was the third song to be recorded and it was decided as a single from the time of recording it . Hezky Nainggolan has a great family history in music, his uncle Chandi is one of Indonesias best Drummers . He started real young also playing guitar and was inpired by Jazz at a young age . Usereal Usri is one of my favourite piano/keyboard players, he just knows exactly what to play and what the song needs to lift it to the next level. He also plays jazz with great feel . Aloel Laghunta has an amazing talent, he is only 21 and he plays so great with a great feel . His Father is a big star in indonesia also. JAM 24 is currently working the live Gigs and has the first single WE CAN FIND LOVE on Adult Contemporary Radio in the United States .
